Book Watch: Releasing This Week #165

    BookWatch_week

Below are the YA books releasing this week that I am spotlighting for my “Book Watch: Releasing This Week” post.

These are books for the week of February 25th-March 3rd that I have pre-ordered.

    White Hot Kiss

    goodreads2

WHITE HOT KISS by Jennifer L. Armentrout will be released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014 in paperback and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.

Published by Harlequin Teen, the print edition is 400 pages.

WHITE HOT KISS is the first full-length novel in Jennifer L. Armentrout’s The Dark Elements series. The second full-length book, STONE COLD TOUCH, is slated for release in November 2014.

    Dots_Divider

I am so excited for this new series by author Jennifer L. Armentrout and can’t wait for my Kindle copy of WHITE HOT KISS to download on Monday Midnight. While I just recently grabbed an eARC, I wasn’t able to read it prior to its release but I will be reading the finished copy in the next couple of weeks.

I love that the main character in this story is part demon, part gargoyle. And I’m curious to learn how she manages to hide her darker nature. But I’m most interested in finding out whether a love triangle will develop between Layla, Zayne and Roth. This author really knows how to write angsty romance.

Plus, with the prospect of a demon uprising and the end of the world, this new series sounds awesome and I can’t wait to read it. I just have to decide whether or not to read the novella first.

    Description…

One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she’s anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she’s crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she’s not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn’t an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she’s the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

    Fire & Flood

    goodreads2

FIRE & FLOOD by Victoria Scott will be released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.

Published by Scholastic Press, the print edition is 320 pages.

FIRE & FLOOD is the first book in Author Victoria Scott’s new series of the same name. The second book in the series is currently untitled.

    Dots_Divider

I am so excited that FIRE & FLOOD releases this week and that everyone will get the chance to read it. I can’t wait for the finished copy to download to my Kindle, especially as my eARC is a little mixed up and I’m definitely planning on reading this story again.

As I’ve already spotlighted it for my Book Watch post and I just posted my review for this earlier today, I don’t think I should ramble on and on about it. But it was a wonderful surprise. I absolutely loved the Pandoras – and Tella and Guy. And I really can’t wait for the sequel to come out.

It was such a great read that I’m hoping to be able to read it again in early April when I take my sailing class that will leave me on a boat for two nights with nothing but a Kindle to keep me company. It’s just one of those stories that you can easily get lost in and I have a feeling I’m going to need it.

    Book watch

    Description…

A modern day thrill ride, where a teen girl and her animal companion must participate in a breathtaking race to save her brother’s life—and her own.

Tella Holloway is losing it. Her brother is sick, and when a dozen doctors can’t determine what’s wrong, her parents decide to move to Montana for the fresh air. She’s lost her friends, her parents are driving her crazy, her brother is dying—and she’s helpless to change anything.

Until she receives mysterious instructions on how to become a Contender in the Brimstone Bleed. It’s an epic race across jungle, desert, ocean, and mountain that could win her the prize she desperately desires: the Cure for her brother’s illness. But all the Contenders are after the Cure for people they love, and there’s no guarantee that Tella (or any of them) will survive the race.

The jungle is terrifying, the clock is ticking, and Tella knows she can’t trust the allies she makes. And one big question emerges: Why have so many fallen sick in the first place?

    Grim cover

    goodreads2

GRIM by Christine Johnson, Kimberly Derting, et al will be released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON (HC)/AMAZON (eBook) and BARNES & NOBLE.

Published by Harlequin Teen, the print edition is 480 pages.

    Dots_Divider

I absolutely love fairy tales and can’t wait for GRIM‘s release this week. I grabbed an eARC for review for the tour I’ll be on later this week and I read the two stories I have for my stop and loved them. But I can’t wait for the finished copy to download so I can read a few more.

Part of the fun with this anthology is trying to determine which stories relate to which fairy tales. Part of it is being able to experience each of these long favored stories in a new way, with a new voice.

I don’t typically read anthologies from cover to cover, but whenever I have a few moments to spare I will definitely be picking this up and checking out one or two.

    Description…

Inspired by classic fairy tales, but with a dark and sinister twist, Grim contains short stories from some of the best voices in young adult literature today: Ellen Hopkins, Amanda Hocking, Julie Kagawa, Claudia Gray, Rachel Hawkins, Kimberly Derting, Myra McEntire, Malinda Lo, Sarah Rees-Brennan, Jackson Pearce, Christine Johnson, Jeri Smith Ready, Shaun David Hutchinson, Saundra Mitchell, Sonia Gensler, Tessa Gratton, Jon Skrovan.

    The Secret Diamond Sisters

    goodreads2

THE SECRET DIAMOND SISTERS by Michelle Madow will be released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014 in paperback and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.

Published by Harlequin Teen, the print edition is 400 pages.

THE SECRET DIAMOND SISTERS is the first book in a new series by Author Michelle Madow. The second book in the series, DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH, is slated for release on October 28, 2014.

    Dots_Divider

I received an ARC for review of THE SECRET DIAMOND SISTERS but I also pre-ordered a copy for my Kindle to show my support for the author. It was a super quick read and a lot of fun.

As the description is very cryptic I don’t want to say too much about what happens in this book. And as I plan on writing and posting a review this week, schedule permitting, I don’t want to end up sounding too redundant.

But it was a light and entertaining read with a chance to get to know a few of the characters through a story told in multiple point’s of view. And as it’s just the first book in a series, I’m curious to see where things are headed.

    Description…

    Savannah. Courtney. Peyton.

The three sisters grew up not knowing their father and not quite catching a break. But it looks like their luck is about to change when they find out the secret identity of their long-lost dad—a billionaire Las Vegas hotel owner who wants them to come live in a gorgeous penthouse hotel suite. Suddenly the Strip’s most exclusive clubs are all-access, and with an unlimited credit card each, it should be easier than ever to fit right in. But in a town full of secrets and illusion, fitting in is nothing compared to finding out the truth about their past.

    Faking Normal

    goodreads2

FAKING NORMAL by Courtney C. Stevens will be released in the U.S. on February 25, 2014 in hardcover, audio and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in all formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.

Published by HarperTeen, the print edition is 336 pages.

    Dots_Divider

I have long been awaiting the release of FAKING NORMAL, ever since I first heard about it ages and ages ago. And I was so totally excited that it would be downloading to my Kindle this week until I noticed that I had apparently grabbed an eARC and could have read it already – though even if I had known, I would be just as anxiously awaiting this in its final format.

The description and this book’s title make me just so curious about what happened to Alexi and Bodee and how they are able to help each other. It promises a story that is “searing” and “poignant” which makes me even more intrigued by it. I am expecting a story with characters I will either sympathize or empathize with and possibly one that will break my heart a little.

While this next week is going to be absolutely crazy IRL, I really hope to get this on the pile during the first two weeks in March.

    Description…

An edgy, realistic, and utterly captivating novel from an exciting new voice in teen fiction.

Alexi Littrell hasn’t told anyone what happened to her over the summer. Ashamed and embarrassed, she hides in her closet and compulsively scratches the back of her neck, trying to make the outside hurt more than the inside does.

When Bodee Lennox, the quiet and awkward boy next door, comes to live with the Littrells, Alexi discovers an unlikely friend in “the Kool-Aid Kid,” who has secrets of his own. As they lean on each other for support, Alexi gives him the strength to deal with his past, and Bodee helps her find the courage to finally face the truth.

A searing, poignant book, Faking Normal is the extraordinary debut novel from an exciting new author-Courtney C. Stevens.

They hang out after school, share tons of inside jokes, their families are super close, and Levi even starts dating one of Macallan’s friends. They are platonic and happy that way.

Guys won’t ask Macallan out because they think she’s with Levi, and Levi spends too much time joking around with Macallan, and maybe not enough time with his date. They can’t help but wonder . . . are they more than friends or are they better off without making it even more complicated?

From romantic comedy superstar Elizabeth Eulberg comes a fresh, fun examination of a question for the ages: Can guys and girls ever really be just friends? Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again — and one kiss away from true love?

There are an insane number of books releasing this week, but as of right now I only have five YA titles pre-ordered and two non-YA titles (HOUSE OF GLASS and FIFTY FIRST TIMES). But I’m pretty sure I’ll be grabbing books by Jessica Brody, Elizabeth Eulberg, Seth Fishman, and maybe one or two others before the week ends.

Things only get more crazy over the next month in terms of book releases, which makes me think I need to find a different way to create these posts as between researching releases, writing down my thoughts and posting all the details, they take anywhere from six to eight hours to create… more if I end up with close to ten books I’m pre-ordering.

My wallet is still not happy as I often acquire books mid-week. But at least all those charges don’t hit on one day.

I can’t wait to start reading WHITE HOT KISS by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I was hoping to get the chance to read it early, but my reading pile was just too crowded by the time I got my hands on a copy. And I can’t believe I forgot that I had an advance copy of FAKING NORMAL or I definitely would have read that pre-release.

Oh well… finished copies are always better, right?

Anyway… I hope that you get your hands on a copy of one or more of the awesome books releasing this week. There are just so many books that sound like fantastic reads that I hadn’t heard of before but I will definitely be taking a longer look at. Are any of this week’s releases new on your radar?

As always, happy bookish acquiring and reading this week!

Book Watch: Releasing This Week #89

Below are the YA books coming out this week that I am spotlighting for my “Book Watch: Releasing This Week” post.

These are books for the week of September 11th-September 17th that I have pre-ordered.

Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst will be released in the U.S. on September 11, 2012 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Margaret K. McElderry Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, the print edition is 432 pages.

    ***

I am so excited about Vessel’s release this week. I first noticed it around the blogosphere when I saw this gorgeous cover and it sounded so epic I just had to pre-order a copy.

I am really excited to read this book that the description calls a “mystical” and “atmospheric tale.” I can’t wait to meet Liyana. I love the idea that she’s been groomed to be a vessel for a goddess, but when the goddess doesn’t appear, she is abandoned by her tribe to die in the desert.

I am also very curious to meet Korbyn who is purportedly a “trickster god” who finds Liyana and convinces her to search for other missing gods. I’m interested to see if he was behind their disappearances or if he is only being helpful. I find it tough to trust a trickster, so I’ll reserve judgment until I meet him.

I can’t wait to take this journey with them and find out whether Liyana and Korbyn are able to “trick fate.” And I really hope to do so later this month.

Brimstone by Rosemary Clement-Moore will be released in the U.S. on September 11, 2012 in paperback and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Ember, the print edition is 656 pages.

Brimstone is an omnibus edition of books one and two in the Maggie Quinn Girl vs. Evil series by author Rosemary Clement-Moore.

    ***

I realized I hadn’t heard of any upcoming releases by author Rosemary Clement-Moore this year so I did a search on Amazon and saw this omnibus edition for two of her previously published titles – Prom Dates from Hell and Hell Week. As I hadn’t yet read her Maggie Quinn Girl vs. Evil series and didn’t own the books, I thought I’d take a peek at them in Brimstone.

I just love the name of this series. And I love the names of the individual books. I can’t wait to find out what happens as Maggie investigates the evil that’s been unleashed at her high school in Prom Dates from Hell and to see just what happens with the Greeks when things go awry in Hell Week.

This series sounds like a lot of fun, with a kick-a** heroine and I can’t wait to meet her when my Kindle copy downloads this week. And I am so very tempted to grab the third book in the series right now….

Hidden by Sophie Jordan will be released in the U.S. on September 11, 2012 in hardcover, audio and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in all formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by HarperCollins, the print edition is 272 pages.

Hidden is the third and final book in author Sophie Jordan’s Firelight trilogy.

    ***

I can’t believe I haven’t caught up with this series and now it’s ending! I own the first two books on my Kindle and have had Hidden pre-ordered for quite some time. I just haven’t had the chance to start this series yet.

I discovered it before I started blogging as it was one of the Amazon recommends that kept popping up. While it sounded a bit different from what I was reading at the time, curiosity won out and I bought the book. Then I moved. Then I started blogging. And I never got the chance to dive in.

But I so very much wanted to. Especially when I checked out the description when book two was being released. Firelight totally grabbed me with its first three sentences – “A hidden truth. Mortal enemies. Doomed love.” Had I read that back in 2010 I never would have waited.

I want to know what truth is being hidden. I want to see if love is really doomed. And I want to find out if these enemies prevail. I can’t wait to meet Jacinda and Will, find out if their love story is a happy one. And I can’t wait to learn more about what it means to be a draki.

I refuse to take a look at the Goodreads description for Hidden, even though it’s linked in the cover. I don’t want to risk spoiling this series because I will be reading it. Soon.

Hanging by a Thread by Sophie Littlefield will be released in the U.S. on September 11, 2012 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Delacorte Books for Young Readers, the print edition is 288 pages.

    ***

I am so excited that Hanging by a Thread is finally releasing. I fell in love with this cover the moment I saw it and pre-ordered this book solely based on cover love. Well, that and because I already own two books by this author.

Of course the description – and the excerpt I’d read – have me totally intrigued. But as I spotlighted this for my Book Watch post a couple weeks ago, I won’t go into all the reasons why.

I will simply say that mysterious disappearances, a heroine with the ability to see people’s past from simply touching their clothing, and murder make this book one that I won’t be able to wait very long to read. I may just have to sneak this one in next month.

And I may have to check out the print edition, too, as this is one book whose cover would look awesome on my book tower.

While there are a ton of books releasing this week, I only have four I’m adding to my collection. I’m dying to read Jonathan Maberry’s series, but I may end up buying the omnibus Kindle edition, TALES OF THE ROT AND RUIN, which is also releasing this week. But as it’s $30.99 I am still debating whether or not to simply try out the first book. I am still undecided.

I haven’t read any of the four new books I’m adding to my collection this week, but I really hope to read VESSEL and HANGING BY A THREAD very soon. And I hope to catch up on the FIRELIGHT series this fall because it not only sounds awesome, I’ve been told it’s a series not to miss.

I think my wallet is very happy with me this week, but it has no idea what’s in store for it next week. And if I splurge on the Maberry books, which I’m so very tempted to do right now, it will be grumbling.

I’m so glad I don’t tweet my purchases from Amazon as they offer, because then everyone would know just how many other books than the ones I post about each week get added to my eReader.

    Anyway….

I envy those of you who already got the chance to buy STORMDANCER by Jay Kristoff. It doesn’t release in the U.S. until next week. But there are some amazing books releasing this week and I hope you found some to add to your collection.

As always, I would love to hear what you’re hoping to add to your collection this week!

Book Watch: Hanging by a Thread

Hanging by a Thread by Sophie Littlefield will be released in the U.S. on September 11, 2012 in hardcover and eBook formats.

It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Delacorte Books for Young Readers, the print edition is 288 pages.

    ***

While the week of September 11th is fairly quiet for new releases in YA, there is a book that I’ve had my eye on for quite some time that I just had to put in the spotlight, and that’s HANGING BY A THREAD by Sophie Littlefield.

I first noticed this book because of its cover. It’s so pretty and so gruesome all at once. And the title made me curious to find out just what it was about.

Murder. Mystery. Psychic abilities. Oh yes, I was definitely intrigued. And that the title plays upon the fact that the main character Clare works as a seamstress makes me love it even more.

I can’t wait to add this book to my collection and find out more about her powers – psychometry, I believe – and to learn more about just how they came to be in the first place. Yes, I read the excerpt and it sounds awesome… and dark.

While I haven’t yet read anything by the author, though I own the two YA titles in her Banished series, judging from the excerpt I think I’m going to love her writing style. And I am definitely excited to pick this one up on release date.

With the promise of secrets, a dark past, danger and a wickedly awesome ability, HANGING BY A THREAD is most definitely a book worth watching.

And if you just can’t wait and you’d like to read the short excerpt on the author’s website, CLICK HERE, and scroll down to read.

    About the Book

    Goodreads description:

Summer is the best part of the year in Winston, California, and the Fourth of July is the highlight of the season. But the perfect town Clare remembers has changed, and everyone is praying that this summer will be different from the last two—that this year’s Fourth of July festival won’t see one of their own vanish without a trace, leaving no leads and no suspects. The media are in a frenzy predicting a third disappearance, but the town depends on tourist dollars, so the residents of Winston are trying desperately to pretend nothing’s wrong.

And they’re not the only ones hiding something.

Clare, a seamstress who redesigns vintage clothing, has been blessed—or perhaps cursed—with a gift: she can see people’s pasts when she touches their clothes. When she stumbles across a denim jacket that once belonged to Amanda Stavros, last year’s Fourth of July victim, Clare sees her perfect town begin to come apart at the seams.

In a town where appearance means everything, how deep beneath the surface will Clare dig to uncover a murderer?

Book Watch: Releasing This Week #41

Below are the YA books coming out this week that I am spotlighting for my “Book Watch: Releasing This Week” post.

These are books for the week of October 11th-October 17th that I have pre-ordered.

    ***

Awake at Dawn by C.C. Hunter was released in the U.S. today, October 11, 2011, in paperback and eBook formats. It is currently available to order online at Amazon and Barnes & Noble in both formats.

Published by St. Martin’s Griffin, the print edition is 400 pages.

Awake at Dawn is the second book in the Shadow Falls series by author C.C. Hunter.

    ***

I can’t believe Awake at Dawn is finally out and it downloaded early on my Kindle! A total win. I loved Born at Midnight which I had a chance to read early thanks to the publisher, but I’ve had the very long wait for this sequel’s release. I’d been stalking it on Amazon and the moment it was available to pre-order I did. So all I had to do at that point was wait. And wait some more.

Even with the short story about Della, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap between the first book and this one. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever, so I may just have to take a quick peek at just a few chapters even though I won’t be able to read it this week.

As I already spotlighted this for my Book Watch post, I won’t go into too long a ramble. But I’m super curious to see what happens with Derek and my favorite – Lucas. And I hope things aren’t left on too big a cliff, especially since Taken at Dusk won’t be out until April of next year.

This series has tons of action and is just so fun to read. And this installment looks to be super exciting. And with ghosts, rogue vampires, half-faeries and werewolves, there is no shortage of paranormals to love.

Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday releases in the U.S. today, October 11, 2011, in paperback and eBook format. It is currently available to order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by HarperTeen, the print edition is 320 pages.

    ***

Deadly Cool is another book I’ve been dying to read. Even though I had the ARC – which sadly I haven’t had a chance to read yet – I’ve had the eBook on my list of pre-orders for quite some time.

I’ve mentioned it before, but I love the fact that this story is a murder mystery and the main character sounds to be completely sarcastic. From the description, though, her predicament does sound unbelievably annoying. What girlfriend would want to be responsible for helping their cheating boyfriend clear his name? Not too many.

So, I really can’t wait to meet her, see what her reactions are to her boyfriend’s situation and find out if she is in fact intended as the killer’s next victim.

Unforsaken by Sophie Littlefield was released today, October 11, 2011, in the U.S. in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Delacorte Books for Young Readers, the print edition is 288 pages.

Unforsaken is the sequel to Banished by author Sophie Littlefield.

    ***

I am guilty of not yet having read the first book in the series, Banished, but I knew I’d want Unforsaken since I’ve owned an eBook of Banished for awhile. So, of course I added this to my list of pre-orders with the hope of reading both books back-to-back. While that might not happen as soon as I’d hoped, I definitely plan on reading both of these books.

From the description, which I did read for this sequel, it sounds like there is quite a bit of history with the Banished. But what I find most intriguing is the fact that the main character is a healer who can apparently create zombies if her timing is off.

In this sequel, according to the description, things have settled down after the events in book one, but not for too long. Hailey is once again thrown into a pretty dangerous situation as the man who is trying to track her down is made aware of her location.

I am definitely excited to read both of these books, as the world author Sophie Littlefield created in this series sounds like it could be pretty danger-filled and action-packed.

Tris & Izzie by Mette Ivie Harrison was released in the U.S. today, October 11, 2011 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to order online at Amazon and Barnes & Noble in both formats.

Published by EgmontUSA, the print edition is 272 pages.

    ***

I have had this book on my list of pre-orders for the Kindle for awhile. I was excited about the gorgeous cover and the fact that it is a modern retelling of Tristan and Isolde a favorite story of my mother’s and one I have always loved, both in print and on screen.

I did not get a chance to read it on NetGalley, as I’m seriously behind on my NG reviews, and I may have traded for an ARC but haven’t yet received it, so I will probably be reading the eBook that downloaded early this morning. I’m just not certain how close to the top of my pile that I’ll be able to put this book.

This updated version of the story is about a girl named Izzie who accidentally takes a love potion meant for her friend and ends up falling in love with the new boy Tristan. As she already has a boyfriend, this, of course, is not ideal.

I am not sure what to expect with this new version of the story as I have heard some chatter that it didn’t meet everyone’s expectations, but as the story of Tristan and Isolde is one that I’ve loved for many years, I’d like to read this one for myself and be my own judge.

Audition by Stasia Ward Kehoe will be released in the U.S. on October 13, 2011 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Published by Viking Juvenile, a division of Penguin Group, the print edition is 458 pages.

Audition is one of the books that can be chosen for the 2011 Debut Author Challenge hosted by Kristi at TheStorySiren.com.

    ***

I traded for an early copy of this book awhile back, but then knew I’d run out of time to read it before release day, so I passed it along. But I’m glad that the eBook will be downloading on Thursday as I really do want to read this romantic story, which is told in verse.

I haven’t read very many books told in verse, but this one just sounds so beautiful. It is the story of a girl, Sara, who leaves home to study ballet, but finds that she is terribly lonely until she meets a choreographer named Rem. This story is not just about the romance, however. Sara finds that she is passionate about writing and is unsure whether pursuing dance is truly what she wants out of life.

I’m curious to see whether her dreams have changed and if she decides to leave the life she thought she wanted in order to pursue this new one.

Other books releasing this week to note:

Bunheads by Sophie Flack – October 10, 2011 – Amazon, Barnes & Noble

Frost (Stork #2) by Wendy Delsol – October 11, 2011 – Amazon, Barnes & Noble

The Death Cure (The Maze Runner Trilogy) by James Dashner – October 11, 2011 – Amazon, Barnes & Noble

    ***

It’s been another five book week, but only three of the five are books I can put anywhere close to the top of the pile. Although Awake at Dawn and Deadly Cool are two books I’d love have at the very top, rather than just close to the top.

Now that the final James Dashner book is out in The Maze Runner Trilogy I’m definitely thinking of picking up the set. But as I still haven’t read The Hunger Games, I think that series must come first.

And I’ve been super excited for Frost by Wendy Delsol for some time, but what I hadn’t initially realized is that it is a sequel and I haven’t even read book one. So, while I will be purchasing this book eventually, for now I’ve decided to wait until I’ve read Stork before I grab a copy of this second book in the series.

The next two weeks will be interesting, as I know there will be quite a few more pre-orders each week than the five books I have listed above. I can’t wait for that rainy day when I can sit down and tackle my ever growing TBR pile and catch up on a few “dying to read” books. I’m still hoping that will happen this December.
