FORETOLD is the first book in a new series by Author Rinda Elliott entitled Sisters of Fate. The second book in the trilogy is FORECAST and the third book is FORESWORN.

There are a ton of amazing books releasing the week of April 1st. So many that I couldn’t even list them all below. And while I am anxiously awaiting the release of way more than the five books I chose, the one book I know is awesome, so I just had to spotlight it, is FORETOLD by Rinda Elliott.

Prophecies. Norse mythology. The end of the world. The description alone is intriguing, exciting and full of win. The story itself is even better. Magic. Mystery. A sexy warrior. Destiny. And so much more.

As I have read it – it was such a quick read and so easy to devour in a day – I know what happens with Raven and Vanir. I know whether or not one of the prophesied sisters dies. And I know that waiting for the next book in this series is going to be torturous.

I love stories that are centered around myths. The lore is always fascinating and the modern interpretations often intrigue me. As I haven’t read very many stories that involve Norse myths, it’s thrilling to discover something new in the books I read. Even if I can’t always – or ever – pronounce words like Ragnarok or Yggdrasil properly.

Which is why I was totally stoked to hear about Rinda Elliott’s new series and even more excited to begin reading it. And it so did not disappoint. Well… except when I came to the end and didn’t have the next book to dive into immediately. But I suppose that’s what I get for reading a book in a series before all books have been released.

And so while I can’t wait to read and discover each of the other awesome books releasing the week of April 1st, the book that I already know is a fantastic and addictive read and part of a series I am desperately waiting to continue is FORETOLD. Which is why it is the book to watch this week.

What about you?

Are you as intrigued by Norse mythology as I am? Does the idea of destiny and prophesy pique your interest?

Are you curious to find out whether Ragnarok has begun and to meet the three sisters who might have the power to stop it?

Or is it magic and mystery and a sexy warrior that lure you in?

About the Book

Goodreads description:

It is written that three Sisters of Fate have the power to change the world’s destiny. But only if they survive…

The Lockwood triplets have had the prophecy drummed into their heads since birth. Still, Raven, the eldest of the sisters, can’t believe it’s really happening. She’s the reincarnation of a Norse goddess? One of the sisters is destined to die? When it starts snowing in summer in Florida, the sisters fear the worst has come to pass. Ragnarok, the Norse end of the world, has begun.

Raven finds herself the secret protector of Vanir, a boy with two wolves, a knowledge of Norse magic and a sense of destiny he can’t quite explain. He’s intense, sexy and equally determined to save her when it becomes clear someone is endangering them. Raven doesn’t know if getting closer to him will make a difference in the coming battle, but her heart isn’t giving her a choice.

Ahead of the sisters is the possibility of death at the hand of a warrior, death by snow, death by water or death by fire. Or even from something else…

Sisters of Fate

The prophecy doesn’t lie: one is doomed to die.
