The week of October 23rd has some seriously amazing books releasing which made it so tough to choose. But in the end I had to go with a book whose series is incredibly well-written, engaging and absolutely gorgeous… even if I’m just a bit behind on it… and that’s BEAUTIFUL REDEMPTION by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.

I fell in love with the series when I first discovered it before I began blogging and cannot believe that this is the final book and that there will be no more story left to tell. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES was so refreshingly different, unbelievably captivating, and so beautifully written that I was immediately drawn into the world and made an instant connection with Ethan Wate.

And I absolutely loved the second book in the series, BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS. So much so that I was far too intimidated to be able to properly wrangle my thoughts into a review. While I still haven’t read BEAUTIFUL CHAOS I can only imagine it’s every bit as mind-blowing as the first two books and that this final book in the series will be just as spectacular.

I did take a peek at the description which fortunately isn’t too spoiler-y. Of course, now I’m really curious as to just what happened to Ethan in BEAUTIFUL CHAOS during the Eighteenth Moon….

But I hope there is a happy ending in store for Ethan and Lena. I hope that with the two of them working to bring Ethan back home they will be successful. Especially if Lena will have to put her trust in her enemies and risk the lives of family and friends in order to bring him back.

As bittersweet as saying goodbye to this series will be, I very much look forward to finding out just how things end. Of course I think I want to go back to the start and read all four books in a row. It will definitely be worth it.

And as much as I’m looking forward to a couple other books releasing the week of October 23rd, the CASTER CHRONICLES is one of my most favorite YA series and BEAUTIFUL REDEMPTION is the book to watch this week for me.

About the Book

Goodreads Description:

Is death the end . . . or only the beginning?

Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.

Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan’s return, vowing to do whatever it takes — even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of the family and friends Ethan left to protect.

Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.
