I instantly knew which book I was going to spotlight for the week of July 31st. I can’t remember where I first discovered Pushing the Limits, but the second I read the description I just knew it was a book that I absolutely had to read.
It pulled me right in. I wanted to meet Echo Emerson. I wanted to find out just what happened that “horrible night” that changed her status from popular girl to outsider. I wanted to know just how she got those scars on her arm – was it an accident, did someone injure her or were they self-inflicted?
And I wanted to find out just what the attraction was between her and bad boy Noah Hutchins. And I still do. The longer this sits on my TBR pile, the more I want to read it.
I can’t wait to get answers and to find out just what kind of chemistry exists between the two. Chemistry that makes them “[s]o wrong for each other…and yet so right” according to the description. I can’t wait to find out just what secrets they’re keeping that make being together “impossible.”
And I can’t wait to find out just what limits they’ll be willing to push and how far they’re willing to push them for each other.
This book sounds exciting. The chemistry sounds like it will sizzle. The attraction between the two characters sounds as if it will give me butterflies. And the mystery behind just why these two are even drawn to one another in the first place has me anxiously awaiting its release.
I have already heard such amazing things about this book. I’ve been told that it’s an absolute must read and a book that I will most definitely enjoy. But even without the outside feedback, I would still have chosen this book as the one to watch this week because it sounds like my kind of story and because it sounds amazing.

About the Book
“I won’t tell anyone, Echo. I promise.” Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. “You didn’t do that-did you? It was done to you?” No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.
So wrong for each other…and yet so right.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common.
And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
“An edgy romance that pulls you in and never lets go. I was hooked!”-Gena Showalter, New York Times bestselling author of the Intertwined series.
