Cover Reveal: Return to Eden

Return to Eden by G.P. Ching

Book Three in The Soulkeepers Series

Coming Winter 2012

I am so glad I didn’t miss the chance to reveal the cover for G.P. Ching’s next book in The Soulkeepers Series. I absolutely loved the first two books and was incredibly excited about the newly designed covers.

So, when I saw the cover for Return to Eden I just had to post it on the blog.

The first book in the series, The Soulkeepers was released in June and is currently a free eBook download from Amazon. The second book in the series, Weaving Destiny, was released in September and this third book, Return to Eden, will be releasing later this winter.

This is by far my favorite of the three covers. While I love how vivid the colors are in each of the covers, I am always most partial to purple. And the purple in this cover is rich and bright and incredibly eye-catching.

I love the contrast between the purple and the model’s platinum blonde hair. And it seems to make the color of her ice blue eye stand out even more.

The artist added such a great touch with the reflection of the feathers in her eye. It’s small details like this that really make a difference.

I love the continuity with the red stone and I’m so curious to see how the feathers relate to the story.

And I just have to add that the description for this book sounds absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to read this installment of the series and find out whether Dr. Silva decides to make a deal with the Devil.

Dr. Abigail Silva has waited over 10,000 years for redemption and a chance at a real relationship with the angel she loves. But when you’re made from evil itself, it’s hard to remember if salvation is worth the wait.

With Lucifer’s plan coming to fruition, she must decide if God’s offer of humanity is all it’s cracked up to be, or if a deal with the Devil is the more promising solution.

Adam Bedore of Anjin Design creates all of the covers for The Soulkeepers Series. The first two books featured Jacob and Malini to reflect the point of view of the main characters.

Return to Eden is told from multiple points of view. Jacob, Malini, Mara and Henry are back, but the main story line is about Dr. Abigail Silva. You only see half of her face on this cover, and isn’t that always how it is with Dr. Silva? She’s never shown us her true or entire self.

This is also the first cover where the character isn’t wearing the red stone. Instead, the stone is looming like a blood moon behind her. You might not be able to tell at first glance, but the pattern in her eye and behind her is of falling feathers. Once again, Adam has created a cover that captures the beauty and dark mystery of the story.
