Giveaway: Hades

Hades, the sequel to Halo by Alexandra Adornetto, was released yesterday, August 30, 2011, in the U.S. in hardcover, audio and eBook formats.

To celebrate its book birthday, the publisher has released this yummy new trailer and has offered a copy for giveaway.

I have not yet read Halo, but I’ve owned it since it’s eBook release and plan on reading it soon so that I can read and review Hades. I discovered Halo as one of the Amazon recommends when I was in my angel phase after reading The Mortal Instruments series. While it wasn’t yet available, I had it on my wishlist until I could pre-order it.

Of course as soon as it downloaded, I moved, and it got lost in the shuffle. And once I started blogging, well, you know…

A Peek Inside

About Hades

“Heaven Help Her.

Bethany Church is an angel sent to Earth to keep dark forces at bay. Falling in love was never part of her mission, but the bond between Beth and her mortal boyfriend, Xavier Woods, is undeniably strong. But even Xavier?s love, and the care of her archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, can?t keep Beth from being tricked into a motorcycle ride that ends up in Hell. There, the demon Jake Thorn bargains for Beth?s release back to Earth. But what he asks of her will destroy her, and quite possibly, her loved ones, as well.”

The story that Alexandra Adornetto built in her bestselling debut, Halo, comes alive in action-packed and unexpected ways, as angels battle demons, and the power of love is put to the test.
