My schedule changed just a bit on the blog today, so I’m thrilled to be able to post this giveaway a day earlier than planned. Because today is the RELEASE DATE for A TOUCH MENACING by Leah Clifford.
And boy oh boy I cannot wait to continue reading and find out how everything ends for Eden, Gabe, Az, Luke and Kristen… and Jarrod.
Of course my Kindle download of A TOUCH MENACING wasn’t among those that were available a few hours early. Of course it was available over an hour-and-a-half past midnight. Of course I didn’t drink enough coffee to be able to stay awake all night to finish reading it.
But of course what I did read already was enough to make me so very anxious about what is to come.
So… anyway… enough about my reading experience and my hope that the day passes quickly so I can get back to reading. But in the meantime I am offering a copy of A TOUCH MENACING for giveaway.

Below are the YA books releasing this week that I am spotlighting for my “Book Watch: Releasing This Week” post.
These are books for the week of March 5th-March 11th that I have pre-ordered.
SPELLCASTER by Claudia Gray will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover, audio and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in all formats at AMAZON and in hardcover and eBook formats at BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by HarperTeen, the print edition is 400 pages.
SPELLCASTER is the first book in author Claudia Gray’s series of the same name. The second book in the series, STEADFAST, is slated for release in 2014. And the third book in the series, SORCERESS, does not yet have a release date set.
I received an early copy of SPELLCASTER by Claudia Gray, the only printed ARC I’ve requested from the pubs since 2011, and oh my gosh this book is amazing. And I cannot wait for the finished eBook to download to my Kindle this week.
I’ve been going through major Claudia Gray withdrawal as I haven’t yet had the courage to finish the Evernight books and I still haven’t had the chance to read FATEFUL. But getting to read SPELLCASTER just a little bit early has reminded me of every single reason why I should get those books back to the top of the pile ASAP.
While I haven’t yet finished it at the time of this post, I will be finishing it today. And so as not to spoil anything I will only just say that it’s just so easy to get caught up in this book. Nadia is a character that I was instantly able to connect with and want to know more about. And the story is nearly impossible to put down. Something I had to do… with much reluctance… in order to finish this post.
LET THE SKY FALL by Shannon Messenger will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Simon Pulse, the print edition is 416 pages.
LET THE SKY FALL is the first book in author Shannon Messenger’s series of the same name. The second book in the series, currently untitled, is slated for release in 2014.
I am so unbelievably sad that I didn’t get the chance to read LET THE SKY FALL before its release. But as it will be downloading to my Kindle on Tuesday I will definitely be reading it very, very soon.
I desperately want to meet Vane and Audra. I want to discover this story of air elementals, guardians and forbidden romance. I want to find out just what memory Audra needs him to forget. And I want to see how they’ll keep themselves safe when there are “warriors coming to destroy them.”
This was one of my most anticipated reads and while I didn’t get to read it early, I am so stoked that it’s releasing this week. And there is no way this month will end with me not having found out if it’s every bit as awesome as it sounds.
REQUIEM by Lauren Oliver will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover, audio and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in all formats at AMAZON and in hardcover and eBook formats at BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by HarperCollins, the print edition is 432 pages.
REQUIEM is the third and final book in Lauren Oliver’s Delirium trilogy.
After having read DELIRIUM early and hearing that the ending to PANDEMONIUM was even more torturous, I’ve been waiting for the final book in the series to be released to get back into this world. Well, now that REQUIEM is releasing this week, I plan on diving in and discovering for myself just how wicked a cliffhanger everyone had to suffer.
I have tried very hard not to take a peek at this book’s description or listen to any of the chatter. But of course I couldn’t help learning of new characters that appeared in PANDEMONIUM and a certain character that may not have had as complete an ending as I thought they had.
I’ve also heard that this final book is told from both Lena and Hana’s perspectives. So I’m curious to see if that will take away from or add to my love for this final book in a series I already know is amazing.
I am very hopeful of reading both books next month when I have a little room to breathe. Because I know I’ll need it. After reading DELIRIUM I was in a daze for two weeks.
INFATUATE by Aimee Agresti will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Harcourt Children’s Books, the print edition is 416 pages.
INFATUATE is the second book in author Aimee Agresti’s Gilded Wings series.
I only recently read ILLUMINATE and fell completely in love with the characters, the world and the author’s writing. And I’m so excited that the sequel is releasing this week. INFATUATE promises to be just as awesome as the first book in the Gilded Wings series.
I cannot wait to see what happens to Haven, Lance and Dante in this new setting. I cannot wait to find out whether they’re able to defeat the Krewe. And I cannot wait to see a certain character that I wasn’t sure would be in this sequel.
The description calls this book “thrilling, romantic, and full of surprises” and I just know it will be. And I cannot wait to read it and find out for myself just what those surprises are, just who the romance is between, just how thrilling it will be and whether there will be another book in this amazing series.
A TOUCH MENACING by Leah Clifford will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Greenwillow Books, the print edition is 320 pages.
A TOUCH MENACING is the third and final installment in author Leah Clifford’s A Touch Trilogy.
I am both excited and terrified for the release of A TOUCH MENACING. If the title itself weren’t enough to make me nervous, listening to the author tease about this final book in the series would be.
And it was. Because I am officially very, very, very nervous about what is to come.
As I already spotlighted A TOUCH MENACING for my Book Watch post in February, I don’t want to prolong my agony or yours by rambling on endlessly. But I am ever hopeful the author won’t be too cruel to her characters or readers. I am hopeful that even if evil triumphs over good, it won’t leave me completely shattered.
And I am hoping that even if certain characters don’t make it to the end of this story, the characters I’m rooting for will.
Yes, that’s a lot to ask. But as I said above, I am ever hopeful.
UNREMEMBERED by Jessica Brody will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux Books for Young Readers, the print edition is 320 pages.
UNREMEMBERED is the first book in author Jessica Brody’s series of the same name. The second book in the series is entitled UNFORGOTTEN and the third book in the series is currently untitled.
I was given an early copy of UNREMEMBERED by Jaime of Two Chicks on Books… actually she sent me two copies but I gave one back. But until recently I hadn’t taken a look at the book’s description. Though as soon as I did I clicked over to Amazon to pre-order it for my Kindle.
While I haven’t had the chance to read it early, I’m so happy to be adding this book to my collection. Because it sounds absolutely amazing. And it’s not a standalone, but a first book in a series. So that’s a win, win.
I love stories where the character is in the dark about who they are and about their past. I love the element of mystery where both reader and character have to decide who to trust and who isn’t trustworthy.
I’m so very curious to find out just how Seraphina survived the crash. I’m even more curious about how and why she was on the plane in the first place. And I can’t wait to learn what abilities she does have, why her very existence seems to be a mystery, and what this “looming threat” is that she can’t remember.
The description calls UNREMEMBERED “mesmerizing and suspenseful” and I am so very excited to add this to my collection this week and read it later this month.
The publisher offers a peek into the book HERE and a trailer which I’ve included below.
The Book Trailer
EMBLAZE by Jessica Shirvington will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. (The audio edition was released on March 1, 2013.) It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Sourcebooks Fire, the print edition is 464 pages.
EMBLAZE is the third book in author Jessica Shirvington’s The Violet Eden Chapters. The fourth book in the series, ENDLESS, does not yet have a U.S. release date and the fifth book in the series is currently untitled.
I haven’t yet read any of the books in this series but I keep buying them with the hope of eventually getting the chance to read them back-to-back. And I made no exception when it came to pre-ordering EMBLAZE.
For some reason I thought it was a trilogy and had planned on devouring all three books once they were released, but I now see there will be at least five books. Which means I’ll just have to wait a little bit longer before diving in. Especially since they’re released far earlier in Australia than the U.S. and I’d rather not have that extra element of torture while I wait for the next installment.
But I really do want to meet Violet Eden and find out just how amazing the world is that the author created. I see that it’s gotten great ratings on Goodreads and I love stories about angels and really want to finally get a chance to read this one.
As I haven’t yet begun this series there’s no way that I will be checking out the description to spoil what’s happened in the first two books in the series. But the book cover above is linked to Goodreads for those who want to check out just what happens in EMBLAZE.
I may end up caving and starting this series this spring, but without a firm release date on the U.S. edition of book four, I hope I can hold out just a little bit longer.
THE NIGHTMARE AFFAIR (The Arkwell Academy #1) by Mindee Arnett
I cannot believe I didn’t have A BLOOM IN WINTER listed with the releases when this post went “live.” I was so excited when it downloaded on March 5! As it is categorized as a New Adult title, and because I’m late in including it, I’m listing it here. But it is one of the books I have pre-ordered and one I cannot wait to read!
A BLOOM IN WINTER (Summerset Abbey #2) by T.J. Brown
Okay. It’s not so bad. I only have seven books pre-ordered… at least I think I only have seven. Last week, I was incorrect in having six books pre-ordered as eight books actually downloaded. WICKED KISS by Michelle Rowen – which, thanks to Amazon’s new way of viewing digital orders I didn’t realize was one of my pre-orders releasing last week – and STAR CROSSED by Jennifer Echols, a non-YA title.
So having only seven books on order this week isn’t terrible. Especially since I’ll have devoured at least three of them before the week is over. (SPELLCASTER, A TOUCH MENACING, INFATUATE.) And hopefully LET THE SKY FALL.
But I really, really want to read UNREMEMBERED and REQUIEM, though that will require reading PANDEMONIUM and possibly HANA first.
[Insert HUGE sigh]
While I will never wish that there weren’t so many amazing sounding books releasing each week, I wish that either my reading speed or the amount of time I had to read would increase. Exponentially.
But for now, I will continue to attack my fast-growing TBR pile one book at a time and hope for the day that I have just a bit more time to read those books that remain.
As ever, wishing you an amazing reading and book buying week ahead.
As always, I would love to hear what you’re hoping to add to your collection this week!
And if you have any great suggestions of “must read” books to buy that are releasing this week, please let me know!
A TOUCH MENACING by Leah Clifford will be released in the U.S. on March 5, 2013 in hardcover and eBook formats. It is currently available to pre-order online in both formats at AMAZON and BARNES & NOBLE.
Published by Greenwillow Books, an imprint of HarperCollins, the print edition is 320 pages.
A TOUCH MENACING is the third and final book in author Leah Clifford’s A Touch Trilogy.
***
There are so many amazing books releasing on March 5, 2013 that I’m just dying to add to my permanent collection. I have a few early copies in electronic and print format, but not the book I’m most excited for. The book I’ve wanted to read since before the second book in the series was released. The book I’m also approaching with a little bit of anxiety.
Okay, a lot of anxiety. Fear…. Dread…. Because I know just how wicked the author can be to her characters. And from what I’ve heard this book is going to be a killer. Pun very possibly intended.
Of course I’m talking about Leah Clifford’s A TOUCH MENACING. The book I just had to put in the spotlight this week. Even though I just participated in a book blast for it. Even though I’ve probably talked about this book way too much for my own good… and yours. Even though I know that this book is going to make me scream.
But even with awesome books like SPELLCASTER, INFATUATE, LET THE SKY FALL and REQUIEM releasing this week, there is no other book I’m anticipating in quite the same way as A TOUCH MENACING.
In fact, I’ve been so worried about just what might happen in this final book that, until now, I’ve refused to read the book’s description in its entirety. And now that I have, it has made me that much more terrified… anxious… hopeful. Mostly terrified.
I am so curious about this plague. I’m dying to know what it would mean for everyone if Eden could become mortal again. I’m desperate to know why no one but Eden is mentioned in this description. I’m so unbelievably worried about just what the author has in store for Az.
And of course I’m super excited to see just how she plans to end things with Luke. My favorite character in the series. The character whose happy ending could only mean an unhappy one for everyone else.
With less than three weeks until A TOUCH MENACING‘s release, I don’t have much longer to wait. I won’t have to be jealous of all those people who already know how this story ends. I won’t have to wrack my brain and pester the author to find out just what she did to Az, Gabe, Eden, Kristen, Jarrod, Luke, and the Kitten… okay, maybe I’ll still have to wonder about the Kitten.
But I will have to say goodbye. Something I’m not entirely sure I’m ready for.
I could go on… and on… and on… about A TOUCH MENACING. And I would if I knew just a little bit more about what was to come. But I have not a clue. So I will just have to wait for this amazing – yes it will be amazing – final book in Leah Clifford’s A Touch Trilogy to be released to have a good excuse to ramble on.
And if you had any doubt before reading this post, though I don’t think you do now, A TOUCH MENACING is the book that stands out from all other wicked awesome books releasing the week of March 5th. It’s the book I’m most excited for. The book I will devour immediately. The series I will be heartbroken to have say goodbye to. And it is, without a doubt, the book to watch.
She is crumbling to ash, and an unnatural plague is ravaging mortals and immortals alike. With both Heaven and Hell out to destroy her, Eden can no longer tell the difference between good and evil.
Friends become enemies. And enemies are everywhere.
But don’t underestimate Eden. She’ll fight for her life, for the lives of those she loves, and for every life she has ever touched.
She’ll fight for revenge. For redemption. For—just maybe—the chance to be mortal again.
Everything began with forbidden love.
What will be sacrificed at the bitter end?
The dramatic conclusion to Leah Clifford’s dark, alluring trilogy of life, death, and epic love.
Other Amazing Books to Watch
Here are a ton of awesome books releasing the week of March 5th:
It’s nearly time to say good bye to Eden and her friends with the conclusion of the A Touch Trilogy from author Leah Clifford.
Whether you’ve been there from the beginning when Eden first met Az in A TOUCH MORTAL….
Oh I was there before it all began. Dying for its release. Breathlessly awaiting – yes I was breathless – the chance to meet Eden and Az.
…Spent countless hours contemplating with other A Touch Trilogy fans over the fate of the kitten, from A TOUCH MORBID….
Ahem… I think I might have spent hours contemplating this very topic with the author on one or two of her BlogTV shows. AND I ponder that very question as I drink from my “Kitten Free to a Good Home” coffee mug, that I purchased at The Mortal Portal store, each and every morning.
…Or are just joining us now, the conclusion to Leah Clifford’s A Touch Trilogy promises to be heart stopping and well worth the wait!
Of this I have absolutely no doubt. The only questions in my mind are how loudly will I scream when I reach the end. How long will I be able to withstand shouting, “How could you!” at the author. And whether I’ll be able to refrain from asking why couldn’t she have written another book in this series… perhaps one dedicated solely to Luke.
Pick up whichever novel you need to catch up on before MENACING’S March 5th release date. You don’t want to be the only one not talking about this book!
That is the truth. Because on March 5th there won’t be a snowball’s chance in the place that Luke’s from that I won’t be talking about this book.
She is crumbling to ash, and an unnatural plague is ravaging mortals and immortals alike. With both Heaven and Hell out to destroy her, Eden can no longer tell the difference between good and evil.

The dramatic conclusion to Leah Clifford’s dark, alluring trilogy of life, death, and epic love.
Leah Clifford currently lives in Ohio, but frequently dreams of finding an abandoned mansion in the south that she can restore. In her spare time she loves to travel and has been known to drive over two hours to get kickass quesadillas.
So far for jobs she’s sold corn at a roadside stand, been a pizza delivery girl, a camp counselor, an extreme cave tour guide, a flight attendant, a waitress (x3), a grocery store clerk and a writer. Out of all of them, writing has been the most fun. She’s pretty sure she’s gonna stick with it.

The topic for today is…
Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2013
The only requirement seems to be that the book releases in 2013. So of course that means I’m going to cheat, just a little. Because I can’t possibly list only ten books releasing in 2013 I’m dying for. Though I will make them exclusively YA books I just can’t wait for.
So….
There will be TWO lists of top ten books I’m looking forward to. Those that are books in a series whose sequels I’m dying for and new books I can’t wait to read. But that second list will be making its appearance on The Annex or else this post would be WAY too long.
And sadly they won’t include any of the seven books listed below, as I’ve already read them and either reviewed or rated them and just didn’t think it would be fair to list them….
Books I’m Still Looking Forward to but Already Read
Top Ten Books in a Series I’m Dying to Continue Reading in 2013
1.
WITH ALL MY SOUL (Soul Screamers #7) by Rachel Vincent
Why Top Ten? Tod Hudson… Well, yes, him. But also because this series is one of my all-time favorites. The author is a brilliant writer. The characters are near – and oh so dear – to my heart. The ride has been one heck of a roller coaster. Who knew banshees could be this kind of awesome?
Sadly this series is coming to its heartbreaking end. Okay, so maybe the book won’t be heartbreaking – though I think it will be – but my heart will be broken that it’s ending. And that after getting to know Kaylee, Tod, Nash, Sabine and Emma as well as I have, having no more books to look forward to will be devastating.
So, yes, there was no question WITH ALL MY SOUL would top my list of books I’m just dying to read this year. I just hope I’ll be ready to say goodbye on release date.
2.
PHANTOM EYES (Witch Eyes #3) by Scott Tracey
Why Top Ten? Because that ending in DEMON EYES was devastating. Because the story is amazing and intense. Because the characters are ones whose safety I fear for constantly. Because the writing has moments of beauty, humor, snark and tension.
Yet another series I’ve fallen in love with is coming to an end in 2013. I wouldn’t be able to bear the thought of having to say goodbye to this series if I didn’t get the chance to read the first book in the author’s new series – MOONSET. If there wasn’t the promise of more of that, I’m not entirely sure how I’d cope.
Because saying goodbye to Braden, Drew, Trey and Jade is something I’m not fully prepared for. Three books is way too short a series and I’m ever hopeful for a prequel story in this world. Whether that be one about Jason and Catherine or one all about Drew and Jade.
3.
ENDLESS KNIGHT (The Arcana Chronicles #2) by Kresley Cole
Why Top Ten? That ending. It killed me. I am obsessed with finding out just what happens next. I’m also super curious to know more about the Arcana. Especially Death. As I may have mentioned yesterday, I’m intrigued by Death.
As there is not even the littlest of hints about what is in store for the characters in this upcoming book on Goodreads, I’m even more desperate for answers, a tiny clue… anything.
But even if my curiosity wasn’t quite as piqued as it is, this book would still make my top ten because the world is amazing, chilling, horrifying. The characters are ones I could read about forever. The chemistry between them is electrifying. And the possibilities seem endless.
4.
A TOUCH MENACING (A Touch Trilogy #3) by Leah Clifford
Why Top Ten? Because I’ve never been more scared to read a series-ending book than I am with A TOUCH MENACING. Because it is one of the darkest series in YA I’ve ever read. Because it’s so unique and evil and brilliant.
I’m terrified of seeing just how this series ends. I’m not at all looking forward to… okay maybe I am, just a little, morbid curiosity and all… finding out just how cruel the author has been to her characters. She pulls no punches. Ever.
And I have this feeling… a bad, bad feeling… that I’m going to be shocked, heartbroken, devastated when I reach that last page. Which is why I’m so glad that there weren’t any ARCs made available in 2012.
Because I think this book is one I’m going to have to fight to start reading and when I do, I’m sure I’ll be reading it with squinted eyes or through the spaces between my fingers like I do with anything that has the potential to scare me. I’m sure it will be scary good… but it will be knife-through-the-heart terrifying too.
5.
AFTERGLOW (Wildefire #3) by Karsten Knight
Why Top Ten? Because this series is epic. Because the heroine is seriously, seriously fierce. Because the mythology is diverse and interesting. Because the story is action-packed, heartbreaking, and packs one heck of a punch. Because the writing is simply gorgeous.
I can’t imagine that this series will be able to come to a close in this third book. This story just holds so much possibility. There are so many gods and goddesses who have interesting backgrounds I’d love to know more about.
And Ashline Wilde’s “predicament” doesn’t seem even close to being resolved.
Of course I’m confident the author will be able to wrap things up in this third book. I just don’t want that to happen. I most definitely want more.
6.
SWEET PERIL (The Sweet Trilogy #2) by Wendy Higgins
Why Top Ten? Kaidan Rowe. That is all.
Okay, well I wasn’t being entirely honest. There is more to this book than Kaidan Rowe. There’s the fact that this world is so incredibly dark. The bad boy is incredibly bad – he is the son of the Duke of Lust after all. Oops… I somehow brought that back around to Kai again.
The writing is so incredibly good. The characters are interesting. The plot is immensely entertaining. And I’m just dying to know what’s next. Especially as I read the description….
Which leaves me with questions, questions and more questions. Release date is just too far away.
7.
DANCE OF THE RED DEATH (Masque of the Red Death #2) by Bethany Griffin
Why Top Ten? The writing is gorgeous and haunting and flows beautifully. The world is utterly intriguing and horrifying. It pays homage to Poe’s stories. It’s dark, disturbing and tension-filled.
I am so looking forward to continuing this story. I’m actually rather desperate since I took a peek at the description and read these two sentences:
“Araby’s world is in shambles—betrayal, death, disease, and evil forces surround her. She has no one to trust.”
Yeah. That makes me really worried about just what happened with the two boys I thought she could trust. Even though there already was that one incident….
If only April would get here quicker….
8.
BOUNDLESS (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand
Why Top Ten? This series is gorgeous. It’s made me cry so very many tears over the heartbreaking moments. It left me almost equally torn between the two boys in Clara’s life. The writing is simply beautiful. Did I mention how often it made me cry?
I don’t want this series to end, even if this final book is as “riveting” as the description promises. I want it to go on for at least another two books… or more.
Although I’m not ready to face “The End” or witness the final battle, I am looking forward to this next installment. I just wish it wasn’t the final one.
The description talks of “sacrifices” and “betrayal” but gives no answers as to who will make the sacrifice, who is being sacrificed, who gets betrayed or who does the betraying. All I know is that I’m very, very nervous about just how the author will have her characters say their goodbyes.
Yet even with all of that I cannot wait until BOUNDLESS releases and I can discover those answers for myself.
9.
GODDESS (Starcrossed #3) by Josephine Angelini
Why Top Ten? Because I read DREAMLESS way too early and the wait has been torturous. Because I am desperately anxious for just what will become of the star-crossed lovers – Helen and Lucas. Because after that last epic journey that kept Helen and Lucas apart, I’m even more nervous for their future.
I fell madly in love with STARCROSSED. I loved the crazy and intense connection that Helen and Lucas made. I loved how they had to fight their urge to destroy one another. I loved how the author resolved that situation…. Nope, sorry, no spoilers here.
In DREAMLESS I ached for the situation that Helen was being put through. I was terrified about this new connection she was making. I was intrigued by the mythology that was explored. And when I reached the end I nearly screamed because I wanted more, more, more.
Well, it’s almost 2013. The wait is just about over. Of course the fact that this is yet another series-ending book has me totally devastated. But the description promises there will be “no question unanswered.” Yet at the same time it says no heart will be “untouched.” Oh no!
So… of course this book made my top ten list. I only wish there was another one to make the list in 2014.
10.
UNBREAKABLE (Unraveling #2) by Elizabeth Norris
Why Top Ten? Because UNRAVELING was such an amazing surprise. Because that book tugged on every heartstring. Because that ending left me desperate for the sequel. And because I read the description for UNBREAKABLE and oh my gosh….
I have absolutely no right to be tormented about the wait for UNBREAKABLE. Because I joined this party late – I only read UNRAVELING this fall. But I feel tormented. I am tormented.
That description definitely did its job. It’s left me at the edge of my seat wanting to know just what happens next. It leaves me with so many questions. It makes me want answers NOW. And it makes me so very nervous about a certain character I didn’t ever want to be nervous about.
As this sequel also has its own sort of countdown clock, I just know it will be every bit the nail-biter that UNRAVELING was. Which makes me more than look forward to its release. Words like desperate, maybe a little despondent, slightly inconsolable, and perhaps a touch wretched come to mind.
So that’s my top ten… well, one of them anyway. As mentioned above, I couldn’t possibly list just ten books releasing in 2013 I’m looking forward to. So these are just those books in a series I’m looking forward to continuing in 2013.
My top ten picks for new books in a series, standalones, debuts or other books that will be a “first” for me, can be found on THE ANNEX.
Last year I went a little crazy with my Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2012list. I’m thinking the numerous honorable mentions are what prompted the suggestion this year that we don’t go overboard. Yes I did a top ten “best of” list and then did a list of the “rest of” the books I was dying to read.
So this year I’m keeping the honorable mentions to just five books I have on my radar. Of course I did create that other list on The Annex… but still, that totals a mere twenty-five books. A much more reasonable number than the 100+ I had on last year’s list.
It’s still not too late to sign up for the event, even though it ends today. Whether you want to go back and post your Top Ten Lists for any of the missing posts or you just want to start today… you can!
For those of you who are participating, I can’t wait to check out your Top Ten posts – and most especially today’s post as I just know there are a ton of books coming out in 2013 that I haven’t heard of yet. Just leave your link in the Linky List below so everyone can take a peek.
And don’t forget to check out today’s giveaway on…
PLEASE NOTE: This is the SAME Linky List that is on each of the co-hosts blogs, so please just enter your links once!
