Quickie ARC Giveaway: The Bitter Kingdom

ARC of The Bitter Kingdom

addtogoodreads

Happy summer everyone! While I have a review post planned for later today I wanted to kick off summer with a quickie giveaway. If I figured out the Rafflecopter dates correctly it should end tomorrow at Midnight.

I received a copy of THE BITTER KINGDOM (Fire and Thorns #3) through a trade, but since I had made that trade awhile back I ended up getting the eARC through Edelweiss. And as I prefer electronic ARCs to printed ones for my review books I thought I’d pass this along to someone who couldn’t wait to read this third book in the series.

While I do have a bit of catching up to do myself, as I still must read the second book, it’s something I’m excited to do this July. I’m having way too much fun reading series books back-to-back this year, so that’s been my plan for the Fire and Thorn books.

And while I had absolutely no intention of reading the description for this book when I included it here, I did end up catching the first line which mentioned it is the conclusion. Which makes me a little bit sad that it is ending, but more excited to read it because I won’t have to wait a year or more for the next installment.

Anyway….

The giveaway details are below. It is a quickie giveaway as I want to be able to include international readers and shipping always takes time. But I am going to ask that anyone who enters plans on reviewing it and posting their review somewhere online.

As it was an ARC received through a trade and I haven’t read it, I can’t verify if there are missing pages or misprints. But it appears to be in good condition.

Description…

The epic and deeply satisfying conclusion to Rae Carson’s Fire and Thorns trilogy. The seventeen-year-old sorcerer-queen will travel into the unknown realm of the enemy to win back her true love, save her country, and uncover the final secrets of her destiny.

“Carson joins the ranks of writers like Kristin Cashore, Megan Whalen Turner, and Tamora Pierce as one of YA’s best writers of high fantasy.”-Locus magazine

Elisa is a fugitive in her own country. Her enemies have stolen the man she loves in order to lure her to the gate of darkness. As she and her daring companions take one last quest into unknown enemy territory to save Hector, Elisa will face hardships she’s never imagined. And she will discover secrets about herself and her world that could change the course of history. She must rise up as champion-a champion to those who have hated her most.

Riveting, surprising, and achingly romantic, Rae Carson has spun a bold and powerful conclusion to her extraordinary trilogy.

  1. Ah, I have the Girl of Fire & Thorns and Crown of Embers glaring at me to be read. :) I’d love to win this one and sit down and read all three at once! I’m going to enter the raffle, but if having not read it yet disqualifies me, that’s cool, too. It’s only fair :)
