2013 TBR Pile Reading Challenge Wrap-up + Giveaway

I cannot believe it’s already a month-and-a-half into the 2013 TBR Pile Reading Challenge. And I also cannot believe that my stack of books still TBR is huge. I actually think it’s growing.

I’m just so glad I only signed up at the “A Sweet Kiss” level of 21-30 books or I would have had to scream FAIL already. But since my participation level requires just under two books per month, I am well ahead of my challenge minimum.

Which is such a surprise. Because at the beginning of February I’d only read just the one book. And now I’ve read FIVE!

It’s a Wrap

Yep. I’ve read FIVE books so far for the challenge. Two of which were on my original list. And they are…

ILLUMINATE by Aimee Agresti (reviewed)

SILENCE by Becca Fitzpatrick (reviewed)

FINALE by Becca Fitzpatrick (reviewed)

CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS by Cassandra Clare

CITY OF LOST SOULS by Cassandra Clare

This means that to make my challenge goal of reading at least 21 books, I only need to read 16 more between now and the end of December. And as I have set my sites on a few other books on my 2012 or earlier TBR pile, I don’t think it will be too hard to hit that magic number by year’s end.

The Mini-Challenge

I am clearly not as clever at thinking up Mini-Challenges as Evie is, so my Mini-Challenge for the month is something I do on occasion here on the blog.

And that is to create a button with a favorite quote from one of the books you’ve read for the TBR Pile Reading Challenge.

Pop it in your sidebar, add it to an online photo album, upload it to Facebook, add it to your Twitter Pics, and leave a link in the comments to where I can check it out.

Doing the Mini-Challenge this month will earn you FIVE extra entries into this month’s giveaway.
