Soul Catcher (The Soulkeepers Series #4) by G.P. Ching
Slated for release in March!
Find it on GOODREADS
If you’ve gotten this far you’re doing way better than I did when I first set eyes on this cover. Unless, of course, you’ve checked out the clock and discovered that an hour or more has passed since you arrived here.
If that’s the case, I’d say we’re pretty much even.
I really had no intention of taking part in a cover reveal this week as I already had a few things scheduled for the blog. But when I saw this cover I just had to say YES! Because I had to have this cover on my blog… and not months from now when the book actually releases.
Aside from the very swoon-worthy Dane with the icy blue eyes… yes there is an aside thank you very much… this cover tells an amazing story. There are many elements to this cover… I guess I could say it’s multi-faceted… and each one of them means something to the story. So as not to be redundant, check out the “About the Cover” section below to find out more.
But I love all the covers in this series. Each one of them is meaningful to the story contained within. And I love each of the colors chosen for the individual series books, which look amazing on their own, but together they seem even more dazzling. I love the rich and vibrant greens in the cover with Malini. I love the warmth of the purples in Dr. Silva’s cover. And now I love the orange-y/amber tones in the cover with Dane.
Of course Dane is quite captivating himself….
The covers are all so vivid and make such a visual statement. They all look absolutely gorgeous together side-by-side and I love that each one features a different character.
I think this cover for SOUL CATCHER and the cover for book two, WEAVING DESTINY, work together in perfect harmony with their just slightly more subdued colors, their darker shadows and the fact that they both feel very mysterious.
I find I am absolutely transfixed by all the different details that catch my eye, keep me intrigued and make me want to get my hands on this latest addition to the series. I can only hope the wait for release date doesn’t feel too long.
Dane Michaels has been to Hell and back and isn’t interested in repeating the experience. But as a human caught up in the Soulkeeper’s world, his life isn’t exactly his own. No one can explain why Dane was allowed through the gates of Eden, but it’s changed everything. Now, the only one who can make him feel safe is Ethan, the telekinetic Soulkeeper with a dark past and a heart of gold.
When Malini asks Dane to be part of a mission to find the last Soulkeeper, Cheveyo, more than one team member thinks she’s tempting Fate. But Malini suspects Fate has had a hand in Dane’s life for some time and that he could be the key to unraveling Lucifer’s latest plan of attack.
Adam Bedore of Anjin Design creates all of the covers for The Soulkeepers Series.
Book four revolves around Dane, pictured here, and introduces Cheveyo, a Hopi indian boy and the last Soulkeeper on the list Dr. Silva conjured in book 3. Cheveyo is represented by the dream catcher and adobe wall behind Dane. Fate, also known as Fatima, plays a role in the story. You can see her shadow hanging from the red stone in the dream catcher. (Yes, she is represented as a spider. She is a master weaver after all!)
And if you think there is something up with that shadow behind Dane, you are not mistaken. There’s more to him than meets the eye.

G.P. Ching is the author of The Soulkeepers Series, The Grounded Trilogy, and a variety of short fiction. She specializes in cross-genre paranormal stories, loves old cemeteries, and enjoys a good ghost tour. I had too until I finished the end of Return to Eden. I think it was supposed to be a trilogy and then the author decided to write another book in the series.
But yes it’s a gorgeous cover. And in print they’re even more beautiful. Can’t wait for this book’s release.
I haven’t read any though I think I own the first one and have it on my kindle app…
Hope to get to it SOON!!
HI, Adam from Anjin Design here. Just wanted to say thanks for the kind comments on the cover. I am thrilled that you see all the little elements, in this and all the covers. Working with G.P. is a true pleasure, and with out her input and ideas, none of the covers would be what they are today. The series is a great read, and I can only hope that my cover art in some small way helps people get into G.P.’s wonderful work.
Hi Adam! You’re so welcome! I love all the covers you’ve done for this series. You’ve made the series visually cohesive, and with the vivid jewel-toned colors you’ve used, they’re incredibly eye-catching. I love the artistry you’ve given to these covers. You’ve created a depth to them that make them feel very three-dimensional for simply staring at a jpg.
I just know, if I hadn’t discovered the author’s writing before, seeing the covers on Amazon would have definitely caught my eye and made me take a look.
With online book sales cover appeal is key and your covers are amazing.
And I’m not just saying that. I don’t do many cover reveals as I have to love the artwork. If I even just “like” it my commentary falls flat. But your covers are incredibly appealing and I think they really make an amazing first impression for new – and existing – readers of this series.
I must visit your online site to take a look at some more of your work.
I LOVE this series, and am so excited that the author decided to continue it! This cover is sooo gorgeous, especially the use of color. I’m glad you pointed out all the symbolism – it makes me even more hyped about the story. March is shaping up to be an exciting month!
