I am super excited to be a part of the QUARANTINE Blog Tour and to be able to share the authors’ playlist for their book. The soundtrack they chose to accompany QUARANTINE: THE LONERS is epic. I love and own most of those songs, so of course I just had to create the playlist in iTunes so I could listen while I read.
While I hadn’t heard of this book when it released in July, when it was brought to my attention I knew immediately it would be a book I just had to read. An infection that is deadly only to adults. A quarantine that leaves students battling for survival. Dark. Chilling. Awesome.

About the Book

About the Authors
Lex Thomas is the pen name for the writing team of Lex Hrabe and Thomas Voorhies. Their first novel, QUARANTINE: THE LONERS, earned a starred review from Booklist, and Huffington Post Books called it “one of the best books that I have ever read.”
Lex received a BA in Drama and English from the University of Virginia and has worked as an actor, director and writer. Thomas graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and now writes, and exhibits his realist oil paintings in Los Angeles.
Lex and Thomas met in a writers’ group in Los Angeles. Their friendship developed as they tried to blow each other’s minds with clips from bizarre movies. I am so super intrigued by this book. I do feel almost embarrassed to admit, I don’t know any of the songs on the playlist. I really need to check some of them out. I do know some of the artists, so that’s something. *lol*
I like the honest reviews I read on Amazon about this book. Overall, it sounds like a good read and one I would like. I’ve added it to my TBR list on Goodreads.

But unless you’re into film scores from the 80s like I am, I doubt you would have heard of most of these songs. You’re a little young and unless you’re huge into scores you probably wouldn’t have heard of them. I’m a film score junkie. Always have been.
