Authors Are Rockstars Tour Kicks Off + Mega Giveaway

We are so excited to kick off the first day of the Authors Are Rockstars Tour here on our blogs Fiktshun and Two Chicks On Books!
In just a few hours we’ll be hosting the first authors on tour – Karsten Knight and Jus Accardo – and we can’t wait. These two authors are such amazing rockstars to us and we are so excited that they’ll be the very first stops on tour.
This month-long event has turned out to be even more epic than we ever thought possible. We have 96 authors on board for the tour, which means that we have three stops at three blogs with three amazing rockstar authors for each day of the tour and a few days even have four. Except today, as planned, where we are kicking off the tour and just our two blogs will be hosting two awesome authors.

There is such an awesome variety of posts on the tour – from author interviews, to character interviews, to top ten posts, excerpts, guest posts and vlogs – you won’t want to miss a single stop.
And with each blogger chiming in as to why they think the author they’re hosting is a rockstar, we can’t wait to check them out, either! Even though we got an early peek at the posts.
Throughout the month many of the stops will be hosting author, publisher and tour host donated giveaways. So be sure to enter on each blog hosting the giveaway for a chance to win. We can’t thank the authors enough for offering up some of their awesome books or swag for the event as they were donated solely because of their own generosity and not because we asked.
And we’d also love to thank two amazing publishers – Harlequin Teen and Entangled Publishing – for supporting each and every one of their authors on this tour and offering up books or eBooks for the bloggers hosting their authors. They are so incredibly generous to be supporting their authors in this way and they rock too!
We would also love to thank HarperTeen, Macmillan Children’s Books and SimonTEEN for helping to spread the word about our event!
As promised, we are also hosting a month-long giveaway, which will end on August 31st when the tour wraps up. We have a number of giveaway prizes so be sure to check them out and enter, below. All books were purchased in support of the authors we have on tour and all swag is offered up from our personal collection.
We’d also like to give a huge thanks to all the bloggers who signed up for the tour. While we couldn’t choose everyone, we are so thrilled that there are so many amazing bloggers out there who want to show their support for the authors they love.
And for the bloggers who have joined the tour, an extra thanks for getting those post ideas in to us so quickly. We know we had a super-fast turnaround time, but we wanted to give the authors on tour as much time as possible to work on their posts. You guys also rock!

What’s Up for Grabs
There are a total of thirteen giveaway prize packs up for grabs.
–There are six signed book giveaway prize packs that we will ship internationally.
–There are four unsigned book plus signed and unsigned swag giveaway prize packs that we will ship to US entrants only.
–There are three signed and unsigned swag giveaway prize packs that we will ship internationally.
