Giveaway: Juliet Immortal SIGNED
May 30
As I may have mentioned last week, I was wandering through my local Barnes & Noble and I came upon a few signed books that I just couldn’t pass up. As I already own Juliet Immortal and I don’t keep unpersonalized, unsigned books, I knew I’d be offering this up for giveaway.
I haven’t had a chance to read Juliet Immortal but it’s on my TBR pile along with the second book in the series, Romeo Redeemed. If you’d like to check it out, the image above links to Goodreads.
I debated hosting a giveaway this week after my discovery last week about how people cheat using Rafflecopter, thanks to Parajunkee’s post, here. But I purchased this book specifically for giveaway, and so I will be offering it up. But this may be my very last non-author giveaway depending upon just how honest people are in this one.
And because of people’s dishonesty, I will be requiring a comment – so yes, a hoop – as an added deterrent and it is now only one entry per household unless I know already that someone has a sibling or family member who is a real live person.
I will be monitoring IP addresses, too, which doesn’t guarantee a person is cheating, but if things are suspect, i.e., multiple entries within minutes from one IP address, I will void those entries.
Sorry for all the extra nonsense, but discovering that certain individuals were cheating the system and walking off with prizes I spent my own money on feels much, much worse. Thank you, lovely honest people, for understanding. And hey, maybe without cheaters, Rafflecopter will be kind!
Anyway….
What’s up for grabs:
A hardcover copy of Juliet Immortal SIGNED by the author, Stacey Jay.
The deets:
1. One entry per HOUSEHOLD.
2. There will be ONE winner.
3. You must be 13 or older.
4. Giveaway is International.
5. Contest ends at 9:01 p.m. Pacific on Friday, June 1, 2012.
6. Winner will be chosen by Random.org through Rafflecopter and announced on June 1st in this post.
7. Winner will have 48 hours after notification to respond with their details.
There is no requirement to like or follow. But if you’d like to spread the word that would be awesome!
If you are viewing this post via email you will have to click the link to enter the giveaway on the blog as Rafflecopter forms do not work through email.

I have been wanting to read this book. I love the concept. I wish our Barnes had autograph copies of books, better yet have signings. Awesome giveaway
I have never had the fortune to find a signed book in my local Barnes and Noble. I practical live in there. I wish I was that lucky one day!
with that being said, I love the concept of this book and will be putting it on my TBR pile now. Thank you for introducing us to such an amazing sounding read!
I am lucky to live by a Barnes & Noble that either gets a lot of signed books or has authors stop by. I always miss the signings but I love seeing those stacks of signed books right there. You’re welcome, I hope you get a chance to read Juliet Immortal and good luck in the giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway! This book has also shown up on my TBR list.
That’s so horrible about the cheaters. I hope with the comments you have a clean giveaway this time.
Thanks for the chance!!
Hey Rachel
sorry to hear about the cheaters in the prev giveaways. Hope it all goes down smoothly and honestly this time.
Thank you for the giveaway and for always making them international.
Thanks for the giveaway. The cover looks nice.
I’m sorry to hear that people have been cheating on giveaways, especially since they’re taking advantage of your good will and generosity.
This book looks really intriguing (and it’s signed, too!), especially since I studied Romeo and Juliet just last year!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thank you very much for the giveaway…
Great giveaway! I owned this book once, but I sent it back to Amazon.com because pages were torn (and it was a new book, too) and I never replaced it. A keeper copy would be GREAT–especially a signed one.
I’ve dealt with cheaters on my own Rafflecopter entries, and I delight in deleting their entries. Since they are pretty easy to spot, I hope you won’t let a few bad ones stop you from doing giveaways. Weed them out, and if enough of us keep doing it, they’ll get the point. Hopefully!
I have loved every single Romeo & Juliet retelling I have read so far, so I definitely need to read Juliet Immortal as well!:)
I haven’t read any yet, but this is the one that most caught my eye and I love the cover. Have got to move it up on the pile so I can read it back-to-back with Romeo Redeemed!
I read the excerpt about this and honestly I kinda curious about this interesting book. a classic romance in a modern telling!
Thanks*
sorry for cheaters
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway
This one sounds interesting & I love that cover
It’s really horrible that people cheated, but I hope this comment hoop thing keeps them in line or away. Thanks for the giveaway! Juliet Immortal is a great book.
It’s an awful reality that cheaters can’t be completely wiped out in the society. :/
Anyway, I find Juliet Immortal interesting and I hope to get to read it soon.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Totally understand the extra work… cheating is just unfair! Thanks for making the giveaway international.
Thank you for the giveaway.
I’ve been wanting to read this for a long time.
Thanks for the giveaway!
This book looks really good- I’ve been wanting to read this for some time now! And its signed!
Thanks so much for the giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway! May the amount of cheating be nonexistent. Personally, I just don’t worry about cheating when I have giveaways, but it’s mostly because I’m too lazy to try to go through and find it….
Oh my gosh what an amazing cover! It sounds really cool and I’d love to read it!
I hate those people that try to cheat =/ You guys take your time to give us all those gifts and its awful that some people try to take advantage of that.
Now, how come you haven’t read that book yet? Its one of my favorite books, you gotta read it!
This has been in my TBR pile in such a long time!
My fingers are crossed
Gah, dirty cheaters! I had no idea how easy it was to cheat Rafflecopter – I’ll be using Parajunkee’s post as a guide when my birthday giveaway is over.
As always, thanks for making your giveaway international – it’s muchly appreciated!
I’ve heard about this but haven’t had the time to check it out.
The cover is really interesting!
Sounds amazing!! It sucks that people are cheating AGAIN!!! Thanks for the giveaway I really appreciate it you’re awesome
I love retellings, and I especially love Shakespeare retellings. What’s great about this one is that it takes this iconic love story and twists it.
Another book that does something similar is Rebecca Serle’s When You Were Mine – and I LOVED it:)
Thanks so much for the giveaway:)
Thanks for the giveaway! I’ve had this one my to read list for a while because the concept is so interesting. I love retellings of old famous stories in a new way!
Thanks for the great giveaway, Rachel.
I hope there won’t be any more cheaters.
T_T Was it so difficult, after I gave up, to tell me… ‘Alba, it was Juliet Immortal’ ??????????
but she says you've abandoned her because she follows you on FAD
hehehe
T_____________T You’re so freaking lucky *-*
Thanks for this >.< OMG T_T wish my sister read as much YA as I do
I HATE YOU CHEATERS -_______- ¬_¬
Thanks for the giveaway!
I can’t even say how long I have been wanting to read this book. I love that Stacey Jay took the story of Romeo and Juliet and completely twisted it around. Thank you so much for the chance to win a copy, I definitely needto read this book.
***DON’T ENTER ME IN THE GIVEAWAY*** I just wanted to comment that I totally love the cover of this book.
This has been on my TBR list for awhile! Thanks for the giveaway!
Hi! Thanks for this giveaway! This book sounds really great! And I was wondering: you said that you found the book already signed in Barnes and Noble? First time I heard of this… I don’t have a Barnes and Noble near me but I wish I could have my books signed!
Thanks for this giveaway. :>
Thanks for offering this signed copy. It looks pretty cool, I’d love to win it, please enter my name for the chance. Thanks again.
Thank you for yet another awesome giveaway!
Thanks for the giveaway. This book has been on my wishlist since it came out.
Thank you so much for the giveaway!
I love re-tellings!! This has been on my TBR for a loooong while..I hope i win! *fingers crossed*
Thank you for the chance!
I wasn’t aware that some people cheat the Rafflecopter! That’s so unfair to those of us who enter honestly!
I didn’t know it was possible to cheat with rafflecopter…man, people are insane.
Thank you for still giving us the opportunity! This sounds like such an entertaining read, I just missed it awhile back when Random Buzzers were offering copies and was so disappointed.
Thanks for the chance to win! This book has been on my TBR for a while!
I love books like these. The ones where they take a story that you only think you know and twist it around into something even more wonderful. All the while still keeping with the actual facts so that it remains believable.
Thank you for the giveaway! This book has me intrigued. I’m loving the concept.
I love ROmeo and Juliet:) Can’t wait to read this interesting take on it:)
I’m so excited to read this book!
I first read Romeo and Juliet in 8th grade (five years ago), and after 9th grade, I had it memorized. I must have watched the Leo DiCaprio version of the movie a hundred times. Lol.
