The Extras: The Magic 8 Ball Predicts Demon Eyes

In another desperate attempt to win an ARC of a book I’m dying to have in my possession, I am creating a post to get a few more entries. As you may have guessed from the slightly modified picture above, it’s an ARC of Demon Eyes. And the author, Scott Tracey, is giving away his one and only copy on his blog, HERE.

Yes, I shouldn’t be sharing the link, because the more people that enter, the more it reduces my chances to win. But I just can’t be that greedy. As much as I’d like to be.

I have already mocked up a couple covers and I’ve spread the word. Which just left the blog post. And while I had been pondering various ideas involving predictions of Demon Eyes, the very clever author suggested a Magic 8 Ball survey. Well, I couldn’t refuse!

For those of you too young to know what a Magic 8 Ball is, it’s a cheesy but hilarious “all-knowing” ball that is often used to make predictions. There are apparently only 20 possible answers (which I didn’t know until I checked it out on Wikipedia), and yet when you ask the ball, the answer almost always manages to seem spot on. It’s kind of freaky actually.

So, while I’m not doing a survey, per se, I will be asking the Magic 8 Ball a few questions about Demon Eyes to see just what it predicts. Of course those answers can’t be confirmed until the book’s been released or I happen to win that ARC. But as the Magic 8 Ball is hardly ever wrong, I may just get the answers I need to tide me over until I have a copy of the book in hand.

And of course I just can’t pass up the opportunity to ask a few questions that I’m dying to have answered about the characters from Witch Eyes. Rumor has it the Magic 8 Ball never lies, so I will definitely be checking its predictions against Demon Eyes and Phantom Eyes at some point down the road.

While I don’t have a Magic 8 Ball in my possession, they actually have sites online where you enter your question and the Magic 8 Ball will answer. So that’s what I’ve done for the twenty questions I prepared and for an extra one I just couldn’t help but ask.

And just to test its accuracy, here’s a question I know the answer to….

Does Braden think Trey is hot when they first meet?
