As some of you may know, I am a huge fan of Author Rachel Vincent. And it’s not just her young adult Soul Screamers series that I’ve fallen in love with, but her adult Unbound series.
Well, Shadow Bound, the second book in the series releases in just three weeks, so I thought it was the perfect time to do a pre-order giveaway for a few copies. About as many as the number of signed Shadow Bound postcards I have left from the stack I received from the author awhile back. I had actually been saving a few for such a giveaway and I can’t believe release date is almost here. Finally.
Shadow Bound is an absolutely amazing follow up to Blood Bound. Set in the same world, but with two new characters to fall in love with, this book will show you a completely different look at just what life is like for the Skilled.
As someone who never thought I could love characters more than Liv and Cam, this second book in the series completely changed my mind. Surprisingly, given just how much I didn’t like her in Blood Bound, Kori has taken the top spot for my favorite character of the series so far.
While you don’t have to have read Blood Bound to enjoy Shadow Bound, I would still recommend reading them in order of release to get a more complete understanding and clearer picture of the Unbound world. Though meeting Kori first could be a rather interesting way to be introduced to the world.
Anyway… I thought I’d include a description for those who might just need another reason to be tempted for this book’s release on May 22nd.
Sounds pretty awesome, right? Well it is! Right from that first line on that first page you get to experience the awesome.
Still don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself! Rachel Vincent offers a preview of the first two chapters HERE.
So… on to why you’re really here….
As always there is no requirement to like or follow me or this blog. But if you’d like to spread the word just because, that would be awesome!
