Armchair BEA: Fab Bloggers
Since I started blogging six months ago, I got a chance to “meet” so many amazing bloggers whose blogs I visit regularly or who I converse with on Twitter or Facebook. I’ve also got to know some other really amazing people who aren’t bloggers but who share the same love of reading that I do.
And even though I didn’t get to attend BEA in New York this year, Armchair BEA has introduced me to a few new blogs and bloggers who I look forward to getting to know, and to stalking their blogs.
Since I can’t name everyone, or this post will take days to write, I’ll just choose a couple from the various places I hang out. I hope you get a chance to meet them too!
My favorite Twitter bloggers:
Jaime (@arnoldjaime13) and Patricia (@iampmendoza) of Two Chicks on Books – the most fun to chat with on Twitter!
Britney (@BookishBriti) and Farrah (@farrahwrites) of iEatWords – these girls do the best vlogs!
My favorite bloggers who visit my site:
Avery of Avery’s Book (and Other Fun Stuff Nook) – I love her reviews and the comments she leaves on the blog!
Kaitlyn of Kaitlyn in Bookland – the bookish videos she posts on her blog are hysterical and I love the comments she leaves here and on Twitter and Facebook!
My favorite bloggers who I chat with on Facebook:
Kristina of My World of Books – fun to chat/comment with on Facebook and the blog! Love her “likes/dislikes” reviews!
Lucy of Moonlight Gleam’s Bookshelf – such a super nice person with a great blog and finally a Facebook blog page!
My favorite International bloggers:
Caitlin of The Cait Files – I regularly stalk her blog to read her honest reviews!
Deea of Deea’s Journal – I love her blog and I really need to comment more. Never good to be a secret stalker!
My favorite Celebrity bloggers:
Kristi of The Story Siren – I love her IMM vlogs and hers was the first blog I discovered when I started out. Lots of helpful blog tips!
Pam of Bookalicio.us – I think her reviews are some of my favorites. Super informative but completely honest. If I’m ever in doubt I’ll check what she has to say!
Some other awesome blogs I love to stalk:
Cindy of Princess Bookie – I have no idea how she reads as many books as she does AND hosts ARC tours!
Isalys and Vanessa of Book Soulmates – They are the two nicest girls. Their Random Acts of Kindness feature is so amazing and their grammar tips are LOL funny.
Larissa of Larissa’s Bookish Life – I subscribe to her newsletter and love her Top Five Sunday’s posts each week. Her blog has such a variety of information that I always love to check out!
Eleni of La Femme Readers – Her blog is so pretty and she has so many amazing features. Love her Tantalizing Future YA Reads posts.
Alex of Electrifying Reviews – I always love to get the perspective of the younger readers and his reviews are quite insightful.
Jeremy and Jeffrey of Novel Thoughts – These two guys write great reviews. And I love that they’ve finally started up again with their IMM vlogs!
If I’ve left anyone out it was not on purpose. I am terrible at creating “best of” lists and also of thinking of names off the top of my head. I guarantee that as soon as this publishes I will have thought of a ton more names for these lists!
UPDATE: If you’d like to introduce yourself here to other bloggers that may stop by, please leave your blog’s link in the comments so others can find you too!

Excuse the random copy and paste… my computer = weird. O.O
May 25th, 2011 at 11:42 am
Aw thanks for the mention Rachel, it’s much appreciated!!!

@ComaCalm – She is awesome! At least the paste was just the blog link. Sometimes there are really odd things stuck on a clipboard
that get pasted into comments. *coughs* Never happened to me…

@Caitlin – You’re welcome! But it’s true. I’m a kind of silent stalker of blogs. I really need to comment more. But typo fears cause my comments to take longer than some of my actual posts!

I love this post! Nice networking.
May 25th, 2011 at 12:37 pm
I love many of those bloggers as well!

Oh my gosh! I feel famous. Thank you so much for mentioning me–very sweet of you. I follow many of these blogs as well and I’ll have to check out the rest

You have a great list of blog fabs. I visited most of them…some I was already following. And now I’m exhausted. But it was worth it. Thanks for sharing. Have a great BEA week.

Great list of bloggers. I’m going to go check a bunch out now.
May 25th, 2011 at 4:42 pm
Oh! I’m mentioned, I’m mentioned!<3 *jumps up and down*
)
Thanks! This book bloggers community is super awesome! I love visiting your blog and some of the blogs you mentioned. Uber cool people! *group hug*
And of course I like comments, but I love my stalkers anyway. Blog stalkers, that is. I just wish I had more time to post. But soon…
And seriously! I should learn to stop rambling and write shorter comments already!:))
xoxo

@SmashAttack – Thanks! I love their daily topics at the Armchair and so I had to add in my daily 2 cents! Why not spread the blog love. This is the closest thing to a HOP I’ve done. And I don’t do memes (yet) so this is my blogger appreciation moment!
@Jacinda – These guys are all really super nice people. Great posts or Tweets and are just all really great to “know” on the blogs.
@Kaitlyn – You are now a star! My blog is not well-known enough to make you a blog-reknowned star, but you are a star here
@Lena – I’m glad to have introduced you to some great new bloggers! Armchair BEA certainly gave us a great opportunity to meet new people this week. I’ll be stopping by later tonight to check your post!
@Kristina – I love your site and comment chatting and FB chatting with you!
@Chrystal – Yay! I hope you get to meet some great peeps!
@Deea – Ha! And you thought you wouldn’t be? We ramble together all the time. You even found my annex!
Sometimes I just can’t think cleverly enough to leave a comment. And I never just want to post a “Great review” and run off. So I just kind of stalk, then walk.
Love the long comments!
May 25th, 2011 at 6:36 pm
Ha!*blush* And of course I found your annex, am I a real stalker here or what?:))
I do the reading-then-running-off thing too. That or I write long comments. I need to find a middle way! Which won’t happen anytime soon if I keep blogging/stalking/commenting at 4am, when the best part of my brain is asleep!
‘Night!

There are so many _great_ blogs out there, including yours! Thanks for sharing some of your faves. I think my blog checking out and reading is going to spread into next week!
May 25th, 2011 at 10:10 pm
great list! I need to add them in my stalking list
May 26th, 2011 at 1:39 am
@Valia – Thanks! I hope you get a chance to meet some of them!
@Deea – Blog stalkers are always good! IRL stalkers maybe not so much, LOL!
I know what you mean about the late night posts/comments. The rambling just doesn’t stop! I’m the same way. Nite!
@Deb Marshall – Thanks! Me too! I’ve only invested about one-third of the bloggers that have stopped by today and I still have more to discover from the Armchair website!
@Blackplume – There are so many great blogs to stalk! I have to stalk yours more often too!

Rachel, you’re one of our favorites, too. Thank you for the shout out. I learned lots reading your post today.

@Patricia – Oh thank you! I really hope to meet you at RT next year. I aim to be informative (and not totally misleading, lol).
May 30th, 2011 at 11:05 am
I hope to meet you, too. Jaime thinks maybe we should do BEA in NY instead. So we are still indecisive. :/
October 26th, 2011 at 12:25 am
@Patricia – So funny, Jaime and I are just talking about this now. I hear you’re doing ALA and RT
Am hoping to do all 3 *ahem* and meet you everywhere, LOL!
